300 Victories for Carl Hubbell

Carl Hubbell of the New York Giants will go down as one of the league's legendary pitchers after his 2-0 win today against the Chicago Cubs.
"It felt like it was a postseason game, one out at a time," said his manager. "It was something special to see."
The 39-year-old Hubbell picked up his 300th career victory at Wrigley Field. He hurled 9 innings, gave up 2 hits and registered 6 strikeouts along with 3 walks.
"I've worked a long time for this," Hubbell said. "I can't believe it's really here. It feels great!"
Since he joined the league, Hubbell has collected 300 victories and 131 defeats with a 2.74 ERA.
